Missing You

I'm reading through the letter that she sent me last year for my birthday. How things change.

All in all, apart from the usual Feast days, I really only observe 3 other days - St Valentine's day, her birthday, and the day we got together.

I suppose that since we're not together anymore, I shouldn't be observing the third. And at the same time, I want to. So I suppose pushing its remembrance to some time later sort of keeps the balance in some way.

Had I not buggered things up, it would have been 4 years and 6 days since the day I asked her and she said 'yes'. What would have been indeed.

I miss her puppy dog eyes. Hopefully, one day, devotion will move her heart again and that , hope against hope, she'll say 'yes' again.
